The Do228 NXT can be equipped with Satcom (BLOS), AMPS, SLAR, downlink (LOS), radar sensors, EO/IR sensors, a sonobuoy launcher, a direction finder and various other equipment and sensor options. In addition, the Do228 NXT has a total of four hardpoints on the wing, where various other equipment can be attached.
