The Do228 NXT features a new, modern interior design in the cockpit and cabin. In terms of systems, it includes a new air data computer, a new AHRS, a new (electric) air conditioning system and many other new features. The Do228 NXT features a unique design. Its rectangular fuselage provides plenty of interior space for passengers or cargo. The aircraft is equipped with retractable landing gear, a double cargo door with a fold-out stair and four hardpoints under the wings. It is powered by two Honeywell TPE331-10 engines.
